Welcome Margaret Wager, New Pastoral Associate!

It is with great joy to announce that Margaret Wager has been named Pastoral Associate based at Ascension!  Margaret is a longtime parishioner and has been involved in many ministries and events over the years.  She has regularly volunteered to “fill-in” for regular staff members while they have been out of the parish.  Margaret and her husband, Mike, have participated in many ministries and consider Ascension and the Kettering Catholic Community a big part of their lives.

Margaret’s duties will center around liturgical events, funeral planning and general assistance to the priests and deacons.  Margaret will officially start in June.  She replaces Cathy Magness who will be retiring later this summer.  I am so grateful to Cathy for her tireless and incredible service to Ascension and the Kettering Catholic Community and look forward to Margaret joining the staff in new and special way!
