Ascension’s Youth Minister, Jeanne Fairbanks, will be leaving the Kettering Catholic Community at the end of July.  She has been called to serve the Family of Parishes in our northern Dayton area as their Youth Minister.  That Family includes Jeanne’s home parish of St. John in Tipp City.

We have been blessed to have Jeanne as part of our community.  She has touched the hearts of many of our high school youth and others whom she has been with in ministry.  Her presence has truly made a difference!

The Youth Ministers of the Kettering Catholic Community have worked together to serve our youth.  That is certainly going to continue.  Of note, Jeanne was most helpful, with Joe Ollier and Tiffany Hunsinger, in covering ministry and programming at St. Charles in the period where a new youth minister was being selected.  It is a sign of what we can do as three parishes coming together!  It’s part of our future!

Please join me in wishing Jeanne the best and thanking her for her commitment to us!  You will be missed.

Special Message from Father Ed
Joyfully Singing Thanks…
Diane and Stephanie

Diane Larochelle, Musician and Choir Director at Ascension for over 28 years has decided to retire from ministry at the end of July. Diane has been a blessing to the parish and has shared her talents with us in numerous ways. She has played regularly at our weekend liturgies, directed the choir, played at
weddings and funerals, as well as been a team player as part of the staff. Join me in wishing her well as she transitions to her new stage in life. I know we will still see her around our Kettering Catholic
Community.

Stephanie Klein, part-time
Musician and Contemporary Choir Director will be moving to full-time and will share her many gifts with our Kettering Catholic Community, based at Ascension. Stephanie will be a full member of the parish staff and have an office at the Parish
Office Building at Ascension.
Stephanie has a long history of
service to the parish and the school. She brings a great deal of talent to us and I am happy that she will be full-time!
Singing joyfully in honor of these special ladies,

Father Ed
