For all women of the KCC - Chair-based Dance Fitness

All women of the Kettering Catholic Community are invited to join an introductory session of Chair One Fitness presented by certified instructor Alice Ernst. Alice discovered the benefits and joys of chair fitness after she suffered pain from an accident, and now teaches at area churches, libraries, and community centers. Into The Breach: Men’s Spirituality Series

All men of high school age and older of Kettering Catholic Community are invited to a special men’s spirituality event titled “Into the Breach.” This is a Knights of Columbus sponsored series focused on how men can be stronger fathers, better husbands, and all-around good Catholic men fit for our current times. The series will be held on Thursdays 7-8:30pm from October 12 to November 16 at Ascension’s Witzman Center Room 119/120. Refreshments provided. Christ calls us to a life of continued formation. Men of high school age and older must prepare for the spiritual battle raging around us. To step into the breach requires every man to have faith and take action. The Into the Breach series challenges men to seek greatness and to be heroically virtuous, to have a character marked by goodness and truth, strength and courage. A Taste of “Souper Saturday” (Ascension)
Saturday, October 21, after the 5pm Mass, Witzman Center.
Bring your best soup recipe, everyone takes a taste, and then votes on which one they think is best! Prizes go to the top 3 soups! Parish will provide lemonade, tableware & cornbread. RSVP to Ascension Office by 10/16. Cost is $5/family;
$2/single person; free to who prepared the soup.
