The Sacraments of Holy Communion and Reconciliation are typically received for the first time when a child is in the 2nd grade*. Classes are taught during the school day for those enrolled in the Parish school, whereas those enrolled in public school students take faith formation classes as part of our Religious Education program.

*The parents or guardians of any student who desires to enter the First Reconciliation/ First Communion preparation program without previous formal faith formation or with a gap in formal faith formation should contact the Coordinator of Religious Education before registering for the program.

We will send the needed forms early in the school year to all second graders registered in Sunday religious education classes or in St. Albert the Great School.
